Welcome to

Olde Walkerville

Location

Located in the area between Wyandotte Street and Riverside Drive, and Gladstone Avenue and Argyle Road.

Attractions

Walkerville is one of the most unique neighbourhoods you’ll find in Canada, with a rich history steeped in the rollicking days of smugglers during Prohibition.  In modern times, Walkerville retains its heritage with an innate sense of “small town” welcome. Unique shops and boutiques line Wyandotte Street for shopping during the day, and those that visit at night will be treated to a wealth of famous pubs, craft beer breweries, and fantastic dining.

In the Area

The tree-canopied residential side streets offer verdant shade in the summer, lined with many impressive heritage designated homes.  Just steps from Windsor’s scenic riverfront, Walkerville offers a modern urban community enveloped by the architecture and heritage of its 160-year-old former town.
