Known as East Windsor back in 1928, Ford City now covers all of Drouillard Road from Seminole Street to Riverside Drive.

Ford City is, of course, the birth place of the Ford Motor Company’s Canadian operations. It’s since become a quiet and friendly neighbourhood for people to relax and enjoy the scenery away from the hustle and bustle of the city around them.
In the Area
For those interested in a bit of history, Ford City hosts the location of the great Ford Strike of 1945. Visitors can view the plaque commemorating this famous event at the corner of Drouillard Road and Riverside Drive.
